Personal Reflection
I am learning how to work with others in a different way. I am learning to take initiative and be more bold when it comes to being in the know, asking questions, and giving input. If something comes to mind I don't hesitate to ask what's the worst that can happen. I'm learning how to work well with my co-leader. We are both really sarcastic sometimes so we are beginning to notice we need to simmer down a bit about what we say. We are learning what pushes one another's buttons .

Spiritual Reflection

Wow God is working in me in a very mysterious way. He is not speaking very loudly but settle. God is really showing me how to have victory in the midst of spiritual warfare. Not only that but God is really showing me how to be a servant. A couple of days ago in my time with the Lord I just said I want to be so low this summer. I want to serve and be willing to do anything to glorify God and to help his people. I'm loving where God has me right now. I'm excited that God has placed me in a position to serve others in a fun and intimate way. He is surely preparing me for something great, greater than I can ever imagine, something bigger than anything I could ever do on my own.

Spiritual Reflection

Thursday night was one of the most amazing nights of orientation. What began as a silly gathering of songs from tv shows and old school music turned into a beautiful worship experience. The staff was gathered into a circle singing praised with the Lord overwhelmed with God's presence.

Personal Reflection

It's been great getting to know the staff.I'm so excited to build relationships in a different way. God is definitely making some changes in my life and preparing me for what he has next in my life. I'm so excited for the youth I will be working with. I'm trying to build relationship with them before they come. I'm still a bit timid because it's something new for me but God has prepared me and is preparing me to be a great mentor. I feel as though this ministry will definitely be more of an open hand ministry where I'll continually go before the Lord each day and simply say Lord what would you have me do to reach these teenagers.

Report 1

Wednesday I arrived at camp approximately 9:30 pm
All of the Leaders arrived to Mont Lawn Camp including the unit leaders (in charge of the counselors), adventure specialist and teen hill leaders. We didn't do much but sat and talk, building relationship. I was able to catch up with people I hadn't see in a while and get acquainted with those I did not know.

Thursday
8:00 am We arrived from breakfast
8:45 am We had our first meeting which was an assignment of camp jobs to help prepare the camp grounds for the rest of the staff and campers

9:30 My Co Leader and I cleaned a room that we were able to receive for our staff and to use as a mentoring room. This summer before our staff gets here we will be mentoring and helping other counselors with their children.Together we moved some furniture and washed the floors and added some carpet

1:00-6
We began to clean the staff lounge. The place was in shambles. My Co- Leader got together and made a schedule for our staff, the CIT( Counselors and Training) We began thinking about the direction in which we want our group to go in.

Friday
8:45 -12

We began the day by doing some more cleaning and preparing for the rest of the staff.

1:00-4:30
My Co Leader and I worked on our room a bit more and went to Walmart to buy supplies

Spiritual Reflection
I just finished an amazing talk with the wife of the camp director. She is absolutely amazing. We began talking about the camp grounds and the presence of the Lord in this place. I feel absolutely privileged to be working here. I am excited for the way that God is so present in my heart and in my actions. I feel privileged to see God move here in this place, in my friends, in the new people I will meet, and these lovely teens I will be able to work with.

My Co-Leader Jeremiah and I have been discussing our theme or direction as we mentor our staff and we just want it to be centered around love. I know it sounds cliche but we want to teach these teens show these teens how to fall in love with Jesus, how to seek Him as He seeks us. We want to focus on the matters of the heart and build a program based on that. More than anything I want these teens to walk away from camp having a strong relationship with Christ; that they be loved and show love to others.

Personal Reflection

This is my fifth summer here and I am surprised I'm back but more excited than ever. I can see how God will use me this summer and teach me knew things. Right now I just feel like I'm the clay and He is the potter. God can do whatever he wants with me. Personally right now I am a little intimidated by this position. I never really worked with teens although I believe this will be thee age group for me. But I know God is going to stretch me
